Rajdhani and other trains stranded

The Rajdhani Express was stopped after it crossed the Midnapore station as the tree fell on the tracks due to a storm, cutting the overhead wire at Bhalukkhunia, sources said.

The trains, including the Delhi-bound Rajdhani have been waiting for the past three hours as tracks are being cleared, railway officials said.

Other stranded trains included Purulia Express, Chakdradharpur Local and a MEMU train, they said.
