Camp for Koraga children kicks off

Speaking after inaugurating the camp, he said that the CMC is organising an excursion covering important locations in and around the country and state  for the Koraga community children.

Speaking on the occasion, HQA Prabhakar said that the exploitation of caste certificates given in the name of SC/ST candidates has taken away the profits of career prospects from the real beneficiaries. Government is keen on checking these malpractices and accordingly has taken up measures in the direction to curtail them, he added. As many as 87 kids are taking part in the nine-day children’s fest.

The fest is designed in such a way that the children are facilitated to get trained in acting, theatre, games, magic, paintings, mimicry, sculpturing, designing greeting cards and collage, writing, singing and other similar creative activities. The camp is directed by Theatre Director Jeevanram Sullia.
