In a three-page memorandum submitted to the Governor, he has sought appropriate action against Bellary Deputy Conservator of Forests, Muttaiah, for allegedly helping Reddy to alter the boundary. According to Ganesh, Reddy, who has a mining lease in Andhra Pradesh, smashed the boundary pillars and encroached upon neighbouring mining areas located in Karnataka in 2006. The boundary pillars were erected again in 2008 but they do not demarcate boundary and are misleading, Ganesh has alleged.
