The accused N Ranganath Aithal (45) of Vishwapriyanagar in Bommanahalli, was found carrying out lottery business illegally. The police raided Sukanya Agency located at SLN Complex, 4th Main, Chamarajpet and arrested him.
He used to sell lottery numbers to people, with the help of two others Rajesh and Prakash of Rajajinagar. They used to give him charts containing lottery numbers once a week. They sold Arunachal Pradesh state lottery tickets and lure people by promising Rs 15 for Re 1. Rajesh and Prakash are at large.
