Challenging Competitions

The festival was dedicated to management events which shed light on students’ acquaintance with the field of commerce.

B G Dwarakanath, Senior Advisor, Titan Industries, Bangalore and Galiswamy, Secretary, Dayananda Sagar Institutions, graced the occasion. There were various events in different categories of management like Mercado, a marketing event; Tesauro, a finance event; Best Manager; Doutor, a human resource event and finally a business quiz called Enigma.
Each of these events had five qualifying rounds which included case studies, role plays, quiz and simulations in their respective domains.

Students undertook many challenging assignments and through these contests, they proved their decision-making abilities, stress managing skills and their capacity to cope with crisis. Reva Institute of Management and P E S Institute of Technology did well in all the events and students from Reva Institute of Management lifted the overall championship trophy.

This two-day fest also had an HR conclave where a panel discussion was organised among eminent HR practitioners and managers on the topic — ‘Post Recessionary Challenges in HR’.
