CM writes three letters to Centre

In a letter to the Union Minister, copies of which were released to the press, Yeddyurappa said the State government has already sent a proposal for Rs 39.35 crore to Director General (Road Development) for improvement of the 70.5 km stretch between Kollegal and M M Hills.

He said improvement of the road will enable visiting devotees as well as tourists to have comfortable ride to seek blessings of Lord Mahadeshwara of M M Hills.
In another letter to Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel, the CM has requested the minister to direct Air India to urgently start flight operations to Mysore from Mumbai and Delhi and other important cities of the country.

In a letter to Union Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal, the CM has sought the necessary clearance to establish a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Shimoga.
Yeddyurappa will be leaving for New Delhi to meet various union ministers on Sunday.
