Government, aided schools lack infrastructure

Private schools are stealing the show in the admission

While the Government and aided schools stand with lack of infrastructure, there private school which have been stealing the show as far as admission is concerned.

Education experts say that Government has completely failed in bridging the divide between the rich and the poor and even today it is said that government schools are for the poor while private schools are for rich. However Government schools are trying their level best to attract parents with various programmes.

On Tuesday ‘Praveshothsava’ will be celebrated in all Government and aided schools to welcome first standard students. The aim of Praveshothsava is to remove the fear of school from minds of students.

The common problem in most of the Government and aided schools is that there is no proper infrastructure facilities. The windows and doors of most of the schools have been damaged. Government is planning to start a novel programme called ‘Nanna Mara’ in collaboration with the Forest department.

As per the programme, each child will be given a plant to carry home and plant it.
