Bangladeshi immigrant held

 According to the police, the accused, identified as Farhan Debanil, was suspected to be a citizen of Bangladesh.
She had been staying in Bangalore for quite some time. Recently, she applied for a passport enclosing false birth certificate stating that she was born in Bangalore. The incident came to light when officials were scrutinising the passport papers.
Valuables robbed
Three unidentified persons struck at a house on Soundarya School Road, in Havanoor extension, in Peenya in broad daylight and fled with valuables worth Rs one lakh on Tuesday.
Police said the house owner, Vijay Kumar was away at work. His wife Asha and daughter Vishakha were in the house. The accused gained entry inside saying they wanted to enquire about a vacant house for rent. After gaining entry, they threw some chemical on the faces of Asha and Vishakha and tied them with a rope.
