<p>Appaiyanagowda (58) and his granddaughter Roja (13), the victims had returned to their village after attending a marriage of their relative at Talawadi. Since then they had diarrhoea and vomiting. Appaiyanagowda was a chronic TB patient.<br /><br />The district health officials said Roja, an eighth standard student at Morarji Desai Residential School, died on the way to hospital at Talawadi, while her grandfather died in the evening.<br />The officials inspected the spot and collected water sample for test. The cause of death will be ascertained only after the report is received, they said.</p>
