Last Updated 10 June 2009, 19:19 IST

Speaking on the occasion, Dr B Raman, a former additional cabinet secretary to the Government of India and an expert on Sri Lankan affairs, and Ponni Arasu from Alternative Law Forum said that the human agony as it is unfolding in Sri Lanka, is a cause of great concern, because, every young boy or girl is being considered as an LTTE sympathiser, though the war is over.

The speakers concluded that minority groups in Sri Lanka be given a fair political package, through advocacy and lobbying at many levels of the political spectrum.
