<p>The IFC has claimed losses of Rs 5.2 crore from the filmmaker and a case has been filed under section 420 of the IPC. The complaint came up before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, New Delhi on June 5.<br /><br />The Court recorded that there is sufficient material to proceed with the complaint and has now kept the matter for recording evidence, IFC sources said here today. Indian Films had signed Gadhvi for two films in January 2008 and conceptually approved the first film, '7 days in Paris' in October 2008.<br /><br />After that IFC has spoken to actors and done casting twice in last two years. First time, it spoke to Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, both gave their consent to the project for specific dates. Since the final script was not readied in time by Gadhvi, they signed and got committed with other films. <br /><br />Once again Studio approached Neil Nitin Mukesh and Genelia D'Souza and both actors are still awaiting the final script from Gadhvi. The Studio had hired not only the entire production crew but also sent recce teams to Paris, Prague and other places. However the final script never got delivered, sources said. Finally Studio filed a criminal complaint. Gadhvi, however, remained unavailable for comment.</p>
