N Sudarshan, Chief Engineer, BBMP, Bangalore Slum Upgradation Project (BSUP) under the JNNURM appeared before the division bench comprising Justice K L Manjunath and Justice C R Kumaraswamy and assured that the upgradation work will be completed by December 2009 and the dwellers will be shifted to their original place and the park will be restored later.
Temporary shelters
Petitioners, Austin Town I Phase MIG Flat Owners Association had moved the HC after the BBMP officials housed the slum dwellers in about 80 temporary shelters.
