<p>The accused are identified as Ravi of Gangadharnagar, Nagesh of Koramangala, Shankar of Hosakerehalli, Machchenalli Rajesh from Kolar, Gururaj of Sunkadkatte, Raju of Dasanapura and Raja of Bommasandra.<br /><br />In and around the City Railway station and bus stand, they lured the children who had come to city after having run away from home. <br /><br />The accused used to promise the chilren jobs in the hotels. Later, they sold each boy for sums ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000, the police said. <br /><br />A section of the media had unearthed the existence of this racket a few days ago. Subsequently, four children were rescued and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee. <br />Gold seized<br /><br />Gold jewellery worth about Rs 1 crore without bill in a shop was seized on Avenue road, by C Keshave Gowda, Commercial Tax Officer, Mobile Check Post wing of the Commercial Tax Department on Friday. A penalty of Rs 3 lakh was levied. Deputy Commissioner, K S Basavaraj led the team, a release said.</p>
