As many as 182 young talents from the Post-Graduate departments of MBA, MCA, MSW, M Com and M Sc had graduated from here. The session started with an invocation song and prayer by Fr Jose PJ, Financial Administrator and HOD, MSW Department.

The Principal, in his Graduation Day message, congratulated the graduating class. “Graduation Day is a day to take stock of your dreams and dreams of your parents. It is a time to set new objectives,” he said. He described the graduating class as the global face of the college. He asked them to be integrated, empowered and committed to excellence. “You are entering a challenging world fuelled by digital revolution. He also emphasised on adaptability and change. Graduation Day is not an end of your study, learning is continuous and your mindset to learn will transform you. It is another step forward for success and more towards the goal. He also focusing on the following points — ‘Be guided by others, Be ready for sharpening, Make impressions wherever you go, Be Ready for Corrections’.”

He urged the students to “focus on greater heights and to serve the society”. He appreciated the students on their achievements in academic and co-curricular areas and concluded his speech by informing the students that knowledge should be coupled with character.

 Fr Jose PJ stressed on the use of academic skills for helping the society. Students from different departments talked about the life at Kristu Jayanti College. Rojin Sam, student of final year MBA, spoke about the teaching fraternity at Kristu Jayanti College. Witney Lobo from the MSc Department, praised the efforts taken by the management, teachers and the team placements for imparting the necessary skills which enabled her to gain entry into an MNC of global repute. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony.
