Mayor gets a taste of traffic mess

The Mayor, trying to walk the talk regarding using public transport on Bus Day was found walking the stretch from JC Road to the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) headquarters.

Having boarded the bus from Lalbagh West Gate, Nataraj was en route to Town Hall when he got caught in the traffic jam on JC Road.

He was barely 100 metres away from the Town Hall, but all he could do for 20 minutes was remain at the window seat of the Volvo BMTC bus waving his hand at the people.

Then, finding that he had not traversed more than 10 meters, Nataraj got off the bus and walked his way to the Town Hall to attend a public function.

Later, he was caught again- this time, in the rain. Running a few yards, the Mayor made it to the BBMP headquarters, albeit, a bit wet.
