JOIN US The PGCET(MBA) entrance exam was conducted between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm, while PGCET(MCA) entrance exam was conducted in the afternoon session. Those who have cleared the exam will be eligible to procure MBA/MCA admissions in colleges affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and Bangalore University.
The declaration of ranks will be on August 12, 2010. The tentative date for seat selection for MBA aspirants is between August 16 and 30, and for MCA aspirants, it is between September 1 and 7.
Last date on July 31
Last date to submit all marks cards to PGCET cell for students, who are awaiting their final year results, is July 31.
The exam tested students on their verbal abilities, general knowledge, quantitative analysis and mathematical skills. Students appeared happy after the exam as the paper was relatively straightforward.
“The paper was easy when compared to last year. The section on general knowledge was a bit tricky,” said Arun Joseph, an MBA aspirant.
Commencement of first semester classes for MBA will begin on September 17 and for MCA on September 9.
