Mahindra opens training centre in Mangalore

All students who complete the course from the institute will be absorbed

Addressing mediapersons, M&ML Vice-President (Customer Care, Automotive Sector) Sanjoy Gupta, said that the company will offer training and infrastructural support to the institute, thereby scaling its students’ employability in the automobile industry.”

“All students, who complete the course from the institute, will be given job,” he assured.
M&ML has decided to initiate a manpower development programme in partnership with some of the country’s most reputed automobile training institutes. The tie-up with SJITC is a significant step in the same direction.

The Company will support selected institutes in upgrading their training infrastructure, providing necessary training to the faculty and enhancing the employability of students, Gupta said.

It will also provide the institutes with cross sections of aggregates, aggregates related to overhaul and repair, sub assemblies and other components as per the latest technologies, he added.

Mangalore Diocese Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza inaugurated the training centre. M&ML dealer and owner of Karnataka Agencies R C Rodrigues, SJITC Director J B Crasta, Principal  Eric Crasta and M&ML Zonal Head V Ravi were present.
