The ruling of the title committee at Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce have rejected the title on the basis of actor-cum-director Abhijit doing a film Vishnu. An upset Dwarkish told Metrolife that he has requested the chamber to provide him a written letter stating the exact reason on why he cannot register the title.

“They have also told me that I cannot even add any prefix or suffix to the title and register it. As much as I respect the film chamber, I also don’t understand as to why exactly they have rejected the title, especially, since there have been films like Vishnu Sene, Vishnu Vijaya and others that been registered. Why this discrimination for me?” he questions.

But this will not be the end, Dwarkish is still very adamant and is not willing to give up  the title. “The fight for the title will continue till I get it. I don’t mind pursuing it to court even if I am unable to get it. I only request the chamber to be honest with me,” he says.

Sudeep on the other hand who has remained neutral on the issue has tweeted, “Film chamber has taken this special interest in making sure that Vishnuvardhana title is cancelled...hats off to their decision...please await mine.”

The controversy over the title began when Bharathi Vishnuvardhan showcased displeasure over Dwarkish naming the film Vishnvardhana. The film directed by debutant P Kumar is said to start shooting on the first week of August and also stars Sonu Sood, Bhavana and Priyamani in important roles.
