Three held for realtor's murder

According to the police, Govindraju was attacked over a financial matter.
According to the police, the main accused Ravi had taken a loan of Rs five lakh from Govindaraju nearly four months ago. Another accused identified as Srinivas and Abdul had helped Ravi in getting the loan from Govindaraju. Ravi had promised to repay the loan within a month. Differences started cropping up when Govindraju started asking for the money, the police said.

“As part of their plan to eliminate Govindraju, Ravi and six of his associates including the three arrested came to his house on July 16 night. To make Govindraju come out, Ravi started urinating in front of his house. And the trick worked. When Govindraju objected to this, Ravi and his aides attacked him with lethal weapons. Govindraju died in a hospital next day,” police said. Among the arrested, George and Manja were involved in a number of attempt to murder cases.
