An event to remember

Standing United

It was a memorable day for the first year students of Presidency College, with their seniors from second and third year coming together to welcome the new members of the Presidency family. The freshers were welcomed with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

The celebrations began with a bang, with the seniors performing first and then came the moment when the freshers showcased their talent through a fashion show titled – The Forest. The judges belonged to various fields — Sandalwood actor Likith Shetty of Pay Role fame, Raj from a popular radio station, and Moutushi Mallik, franchise owner of a popular eating joint in Hebbal. The esteemed jury, along with the high spirited audience, welcomed the fresh faces and discovered the various talents of the freshers — be it playing instruments, singing, dancing and even magic.

Nihal was crowned as Mr Fresher for his moves that put everybody in awe, while Michell was crowned as Ms Fresher for an outstanding performance at the competition. The students of the college now stand even more united than ever. The event came to an end with smiles on the faces of all the students and cries of ‘hip hip hurray’ in the air.
