In addition to the existing luxurious touch the train has, tourists will also be able to avail the facility of spa, sources in the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) said.
The travellers will be treated to five-star-hotel-like hospitality with renewed interiors of guest lounge, Maharaja and Maharani dining lounge, washrooms and tapestry, an official press release said here. The spa facility is the latest feature added this year.

The train will start its first commercial run of the season from New Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station on Wednesday evening. Earlier, its session used to commence from the first Wednesday in the month of September but it is being run from August since last year.

The train is to chug off with 40 passengers on Wednesday but at least 200 passengers are likely to travel during the month of August. The RTDC sees it as a good omen since only 56 travellers had travelled on the train in August last year.

Besides this, the Delhi government has also asked the RTDC to conduct package tours for its government schools. While students of Delhi will be able to visit tourist places in Rajasthan with a dab of luxury, the RTDC hopes to get a revenue of nearly Rs 2 to 3 crores. The RTDC also hopes to earn an extra sum of about Rs 7 crores by facilitating package tours for tourist spots in Delhi.
