Announcing this at a ceremony to felicitate the University’s first Vice Chancellor Prof Mallepuram G Venkatesh on Monday, Minister for Higher Education Aravind Limbavali said that the KSV would be located at Kuduru Hobli in Magadi Taluk.
Prof Venkatesh said that in order to streamline the Sanskrit education and bring the traditional institutes under the University’s ambit, 255 pathshalas and 16 colleges had been set up in the current academic year in different parts of the State.
