The statement contradicts the argument of the Dal that it staged the Chruch attack following the derogatory statements made in the book against Hindu religion. Interestingly, the church attack took place in 2008 while the leader admits to have read the book in 2009.

The above said statement came in reply to questions shot at Kumar by Advocate M P Noronha during the course of B K Somasekhara Commission of Inquiry cross examination held in Bangalore on Tuesday. Kumar has admitted to have neither discussed about the book with any Christian authorities nor seen the copy of the book in any church.
It is also important to note that as per Kumar, Bajrang Dal has no rules of its own, no members ot its own and no identification of its members.

However, contradicting the right to religion ensured in Indian Constitution, Kumar says that Christians have no right to propagate their religion and if such propogations are conducted, then it will be protested by Bajrang Dal in the same manner.

Though he agrees that poverty and blind belief are the main reasons for conversion, Bajrang Dal has so far not done anything to root out poverty and blind beliefs.

Meanwhile, Kumar also stated that the Bajrang Dal intends to establish ‘Hindu nation’ and for the said purpose, it is acting as per the thinking of RSS leader M S Golwalkar and persons of similar thoughts. All the revelations were made in the presence of Justice B K Somasekhara.
