But this year has seen a few of her releases, with films like Apartment and Rokkk, even getting her a lot of appreciation. Her kitty is fully of interesting projects and her career seems to be taking an interesting shape.

The second half of the year will see the release of yet another film of the former Miss India, titled Rama, The Saviour.

It’s a fantasy film targeted at children, but Tanushree has an out-and-out action role, where she has done the stunts on her own, alongside renowned wrestler — the great Khali. But when asked whether she is worried about losing her glamourous avatar, she says, “Who is not worried about being typecast? But I am not frightened because I have always experimented with different roles. I was one of the first actresses to have done bold scenes in my debut film itself. Today, every girl wants to do bold roles, but I have moved on.”

In reality, Tanushree also confesses to having a ‘live and let live’ attitude and prefers to distance herself from the world of showbiz once she is off the sets.

This is not just to draw a line between personal and professional lives, but also to keep away from controversies.
