A four-member gang attacked Kodandappa (40), a resident of 2nd Cross, Madappa Block. The victim was married with two children. The police said, Kodandappa used to transport milk daily on a scooter to a dairy in Cox Town. On Saturday, the gang equipped with deadly weapons attacked him. The profusely bleeding Kodandappa was taken to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Shiva, the brother of the deceased, was involved in a murder case in Hebbal police limits. Recently, Kodandappa helped his brother to get him released on bail. This might have irked the opposite gang, who took revenge, police said.
