Ashok Singh had moved the High Court seeking to appoint an arbitrator following a financial dispute regarding the profit sharing in their mining company S P Minerals.
The company floated during the early 2000s had exported iron ore worth Rs 3,400 crore and as per the agreement dated 17, June, 2002, the petitioner was supposed to get one eighth share of the profit, which the respondent Anand Singh denied. Justice Ajit Gunjal, who heard the matter has appointed the arbitrator.
