PET sweeps swimming tournament

Karthik R, Akash A H and Navya Raj won four gold medals each

Swimming coach of DPIRS, Sundaresh said that the competitions are warm-up competitions for  swimmers heading for the state-level swimming competitions.

Group one boys, results

Swimmer of SSRPU school Karthik R won four gold medals in 25 mts and 50 mts butterfly, 25 mts freestyle and 50 mts breast stroke. He also won two bronze medals in 50 mts and 100 mts back stroke.

Akash A H of VVPUC won four golds in 50 mts and 100 mts back stroke, 50 mts and 100 mts free style. Goutham B S won the gold in the 100 mts breast stroke contest.

Group one girls, results

Navya Raj of SCPU school won four gold medals in 25 mts butterfly, 50 mts breast stroke, 50 mts and 100 mts freestyle. Madhavi of DPIRS won two gold medals in 50 mts and 100 mts back stroke. Kevi of DPIRS won the gold in 25 mts freestyle and Tanisha N of SJCS won the gold in 100 mts breast stroke.

Group two boys, results

Sourav V Dev of AVM school won three gold medals in 25 mts and 50 mts butterfly, 25 mts and 50 mts freestyle.  

Darshan S of PET, Mandya bagged three gold medals in 50 mts and 100 mts back stroke, and 100 mts freestyle. He also bagged the silver in 100 mts breast stroke and bronze in 50 mts freestyle.

Darshan M V of PET, Mandya won two gold medals in 50 mts and 100 mts breast stroke.

Group two girls, results:

Vedhika of AVM school sweeped the category with four gold medals in 50 mts back stroke and breast stroke, 50 mts and 100 mts freestyle. Aishwarya V of SVEI won the gold in the 25 mts freestyle.

Group three boys, results

Paurush of JSS PS won three gold medals in the 25 mts and 50 mts freestyle, 25 mts breast stroke. Kushal S of PET, Mandya won the gold in 25 mts back stroke, whileVivek B R of the same school won the gold in the 25 mts butterfly.

Group three girls, results

Chandana K R of PET, Mandya bagged two golds in 25 mts breast stroke,back stroke and two silvers in 25 mts and 50 mts freestyle.

Suhasini N Kadkol of PET, Mandya won two gold medals in 25 mts butterfly and 50 mts freestyle. Aagnika Ajai Kumar of AVK won the gold in 25 mts freestyle.

Group four boys, results

Pruthvi Gowda S S of PET, Mandya dominated the category by winning four golds in 25 mts breast stroke and back stroke, 25 mts and 50 mts freestyle. Swarup Gowda D S of the same school won the gold in the 25 mts butterfly.

Group four girls, results

Sagarika P Gowda sweeped the category by winning four gold medals in 25 mts butterfly, breast stroke, freestyle and 50 mts freestyle. Shreya M Ramesh won the gold in 25 mts back stroke.
