Three women among 76 judicial officers promoted in UP

Those promoted include 72 Fast Track Court judges, two small causes court judges, a Chief Judicial Magistrate and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, according to an official release.

The Fast Track Court judges who have been promoted without being transferred are Sangam Lal (Varanasi), Abhimanyu (Ghazipur) Anoop Kumar Goel  (Farrukhabad) and Manohar Lal (Kannauj) and Pradeep Kumar Gupta (Rampur).

Three Fast Track Court judges of Muzaffarnagar - Adarsh Kumar Singh Kanaujia, Mahendra Kumar Arya and Jitendra Kumar Pandey - have been promoted and made Additional District and Sessions Judge of Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar and Sultanpur respectively.

Fast Track Court judge of Hardoi, Avinash Chandra Tripathi has been made Additional District and Sessions Judge of Azamgarh, while Fast Track Court judge of Faizabad Brijesh Kumar Mishra will now be an Additional District and Sessions Judge of Lucknow.

The list of promotees also includes three women Fast Track Court judges - Mridula Kumar (Unnao), Sangeeta Srivastava (Agra) and Deepa Jain (Bulandshahr).
While Srivastava will be holding the designation of Additional District and Sessions Judge at Agra itself, Kumar and Jain have been transferred to Saharanpur and Allahabad respectively.

Small Causes Court Judges of Bijnore and Ghaziabad, Bans Raj and Sanjeev Yadav respectively, have been promoted.
Both of them have been made Additional and Districts Judge at their current places of posting.

Chief Judicial Magistrate of Agra Arvind Kumar will be going to Meerut as an Additional District and Sessions Judge, while Additional CJM of Kasia in Kushinagar district, Suresh Chandra Savita has been promoted and transferred to Chitrakoot where he will be going as an Additional District and Sessions Judge.
