Answering to the questions raised by the students about the doomsday, he said that there is no scientific logic behind the imaginary concept of doomsday.

Talking about doomsday, he said that people from few nations are creating anxiety by writing fantasy books on doomsday and bringing out movies on the concept. Later, answering to some of the queries of students on global warming, solar system, life process, physics and chemistry, he asked the students to develop questioning attitude and understand the basic science.

“Science must not be merely a word, but it must be seen as a challenge. It is possible to understand the basic science by developing an interest and thought towards science,” he informed.

Institute’s In-charge Principal T G Premkumar gave an introductory speech. State Science Council Suntikoppa Unit President Denis D’Souza presided over the function.
