A release from the office of Police Commissioner stated that, sleuths attached to City Crime Branch (CCB) apprehended Ananda, 23 years, son of Krishnappa, Janatha Nagar. Acting on his information, the cops solved cases registered in Lakshmipuram police station and recovered two gold bangles and a cell phone totalling worth Rs 35,000.
In another case, Aslam Pasha, 28 years, son of Khaleem Pasha, third cross, Masjid road, Nazarbad, was arrested and five two-wheelers worth Rs 1.25 lakh were recovered from him.
The vehicles had been stolen in J L Puram, Devaraja, Lakshmipuram, K R, Pandavapura and Mandya police stations limits.
The CCB team that solved the case consisted of ACP M Nagaraju, Inspector Jayakumar, SI B N Sandeep Kumar, ASI M J Jayasheelan and others.
