According to a press release issued by the BBMP, Assistant Directors of Town Planning section Adigonda S Mallagonnavar and H R Krishnappa had sanctioned a building plan that came up on the plot in survey number 83/1 and 82/2 without following the norms.
Taking a serious note of their cognisable negligence, Palike Commissioner Siddaiah suspended them from immediate effect.
In a similar move, another officer K S Nanje Gowda, who was posted in Rajarajeshwari Zone of the BBMP as Assistant Revenue Officer was suspended after he was trapped by the Lokayukta while accepting bribe.
