Soofiya Madani's bail condition relaxed

The order in this regard was issued by the NIA court judge S Vijaykumar on a petition by Soofiya seeking relaxation in her bail condition.

The condition has been relaxed for two weeks. The court directed Soofiya to give details of her travel and stay at bangalore to NIA.

As per her bail condition, Soofiya cannot leave Ernakaulam district without the court's permission.

She had been permitted by the court three times earlier to visit Madani at Kollam. However, this is the first time she is being allowed to go out of the state.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which probed the kalamssery bus burning case and other terror related cases in the state.

The bus was burnt on sept 9, 2005, to protest against Madani's continued imprisonment at the coimbatore jail in connection with the coimbatore blast case. Alleged LeT militant, T Nazeer, is among the accused in the case in which soofiya has been listed as the 10th accused.
