Hyundai rolls out new version i10

Branded as “Next Gen i10” it will be offered at introductory price range of Rs 3.48 lakh to Rs 5.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  It will replace the existing i10. The car comes in two petrol engine variants of 1.1l and 1.2l. While, 1.1l has mileage of 19.81 km per litre, 1.2l engine will give 20.36 km per litre.  “We have fitted the new version with more safety features,” HMI Managing Director & CEO H W Park said.

When asked about the company’s plan to set up a diesel engine plant in the country, HMIL Director (Marketing & Sales) Arvind Saxena said: “The feasibility study is going on... It is likely to be completed by early next year.”
