Tyrewalla had apparently made a similar promise to actress Sugandha Garg (who played Shalini in Jaane Tu...)
"I cannot speak for Sugandha, but if you want to know about me, yes, Mr Tyrewalla had promised to cast me in his next film," said Neerav.
"When a big and successful filmmaker like Mr Tyrewalla promises you, you do tend to believe him. I blocked my dates and did not sign two big films. But post 'Jaane Tu...', Mr Tyrewalla even stopped taking my calls," the actor added.
Tyrewala, whose debut film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' was a hit, is busy promoting his second film 'Jhoota Hi Sahi' with John Abraham.
The film is about a group of friends staying in London and their interpersonal relationships just after college and in to their first job.
