Issues of faith and belief can't be solved in court: Thackeray

In an editorial in party mouthpiece 'Saamana', Thackeray said the Ayodhya issue pertains to the faith and belief of the Hindus. "Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya and was its king. Do we live in our own country by suppressing our faith and beliefs? Issues of faith and belief cannot be solved in any court of law," he said.

Thackeray also criticised the appeal for peace made by the Centre in view of the Ayodhya title suit verdict when "it has not been able to ensure normalcy in Kashmir".
