One of them is to disburse unreserved tickets at 16 centres in order to avoid rush at the ticket counters in the two stations and presently, three centres run by private agencies are functioning under Janasadharan Ticket Booking Scheme. The other centres will start functioning in three months.
Besides, 14 Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centres have also been identified for vending unreserved tickets.
Railways are also in talks with BMTC to disburse unreserved railway tickets at the Kempegowda bus stand. The unreserved ticket counters will be shifted to the ground floor of the ticket booking counter building.
