<p>The Board was also contemplating filing an intervention application in the Supreme Court on September 28 when the three-judge Bench headed by the Chief Justice would hear the petition seeking deferment of the verdict by the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court to settle the matter amicably.<br /><br />“The legal cell of the board is seized of the matter... it is deliberating on taking steps to decide a course of action with regard to the petition in the Supreme Court,” senior board member Zafaryab Jilani told Deccan Herald here on Saturday.<br /><br />Jilani said categorically that the Board was against any deferment of the temple-mosque ownership verdict. “The board will make this clear in its application to the apex court,” he added.</p>
