Couple ends lives

The Vyalikaval police have identified the dead as Senthil (26) and Kavitha (20).

Senthil was a driver in a private company, while Kavitha was a homemaker. They were staying with Senthil’s parents, Krishna, a security guard at Hotel Atria, and Bhagyamma. Kavitha was five months pregnant.

Krishna, who hails from Nepal, came to Bangalore years ago and had settled down here.

The hotel’s management allotted him a house in the first floor of Kuppuswamy building on Palace Guttalli Main Road. Kavitha was the daughter of Krishna’s sister in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It was an arranged marriage. Kavitha and Senthil had discontinued education after SSLC.

Krishna left for duty around 6 pm on Saturday, while Bhagyamma left for Arcot around the same time. The couple were alone in the house. On his return around 7 am on Sunday morning Krishna found the bodies of Sendhil and Kavitha hanging from ceiling.”

A few neighbours said that the couple were happily married. Kavitha’s brother Vinod said the couple did not have differences of opinion. The police said the couple had left no death note. The bodies bear no sign of attack or assault which rules out the possibility of murder.
