<p>All the 11 candidates belonging to the BJP, the Congress and the JD(S) were on Monday declared elected unopposed in the elections to the Karnataka Legislative Council.</p>.<p class="bodytext">N Ravi Kumar, S Rudre Gowda, Raghunath Malkapure, Tejaswini Gowda, K P Nanjundi (all BJP), K Govindaraj, C M Ibrahim, Aravind Kumar Arali, K Harish Kumar (all Congress) and B M Farookh and S L Dharme Gowda (both JD-S) were declared elected to the Upper House.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Monday was the last day for the candidates to withdraw their nomination papers. There were only 11 candidates in the fray for 11 council seats.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Eight of the 11 elected members collected their certificate of election from the returning officer.</p>
