Rain, coupled with lightning and thunder, that lashed parts of Dakshina Kannada on Thursday night, damaged floating restaurant—Cruise N Dine—at Old Port in Mangaluru.
In the last 24 hours, Puttur received the highest 25 mm rainfall, followed by Bantwal—23.2 mm, Belthangady—15.1 mm, Sullia—11.7 mm and Mangaluru —9.2 mm rainfall.
