Pearson launches communication skills tests

The Versant Pro Writing Test includes varied situations of writing at the workplace — dictation, summary, email correspondence etc. This test can be taken on computers installed with Pearson’s Computer Delivered Test (CDT) software.

The software uses an automated scoring system to evaluate answers.  With this, detailed score reports are made available online within minutes.

The Versant Pro Speaking Test assesses the speaking and listening skills of a student.
It can be taken either on a computer installed with Pearson’s Computer Delivered Test (CDT) software or over the telephone from anywhere in the country.

Questions are designed to test different aspects of an individual’s verbal skills like telephone conversations, meetings, discussions, negotiations etc.

As the results are available online, decisions on hiring or placement can be made quickly.
