What is more important — friendship or love? <br /><br />Inspired by Sholay’s coin-tossing sequence between Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, director Padmanabhan cleverly weaves the concept into Toss to focus on two strands of romance. <br /><br />Madhav Murthy, who works in a registrar’s office, and Sandeep Gowda, a used car showroom owner, are bosom buddies. <br /><br />For them, friendship matters more than choosing the love of their lives. The two are drawn towards a petite Poornima Prasad — a bookstore owner and dancer who does not believe in friendship. Being friends, and not wanting to hurt the other, they decide to toss to see who would woo the lady. <br /><br />Revealing more would spoil the party.
