Split is packed with a refreshing plot and highly engaging ideas about mental issues. <br /><br />The screenplay works really well while remaining suggestive about what happens next till the end. Shyamalan makes sure that it is more than graphic brutality that makes a good horror-thriller. The special focus on camerawork is what makes this film stand out.<br /><br />While most of Shyamalan’s movies revolve around senses, this is not far from his niche. However, it is much closer to the real-world theories on how far humans can stretch their limits.<br /><br />Split is a well-made sinister film where you can love and pity one person at the same time because of confident acting by McAvoy. <br /><br />He will surprise you as he easily fits into the personalities of 24 characters — some lovable while others are scary.
