Foresters had set up a trap for the big cat at Srikantanagar extension in Shravanabelagola- the temple town.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Forest officials said, that the carnivorous feline was trapped at around 1 am.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Many leopards have been sighted among the rocks of Chandragiri hill recently.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The adjacent Vindhyagiri hill, is home to the world-famous Bahubali statue which draws hundreds of visitors daily.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Last year, a mother leopard was sighted with her three cubs, amid the Chandragiri rocks.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Three leopards were captured in Chinnanathapura, Nagarakoppalu and Uthenahalli, some time ago. Locals suspect that there are three or four more on the prowl in the vicinity.</p>.<p class="bodytext">They were sighted close to the Bhadrabahu temple atop Chandragiri. These images were captured on CCTV cameras installed at the temple.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The Forest Department has set up three more traps for these leopards on the hill.</p>
