<p>Forest Department personnel arrested four people for attempting to sell a pangolin near Vasthare in Chikkamagaluru taluk on Saturday. The pangolin has been seized.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Moganna Gowda of Elekhan, plantation workers Ganesh, Mallesh and Rajashekar are the arrested. The accused were transporting the endangered mammal in a van.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Regional Forest Officer Shilpa said that the accused had captured the pangolin in the plantation by laying a trap. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Forest Department staff Venkatesh, Narayana, Umesh, Purushottam and Asif took part in the arrest.</p>
