#GobackShobha campaign gains momentum

Many people have joined #GobackShobha campaign and have urged the BJP leaders not to field Shobha Karandlaje again from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency in upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Netizens on Twitter and Facebook have launched #GobackShobha campaign. Thousands have supported it. They have expressed their displeasure in the Twitter accounts of Prime Minister Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and BJP Karnataka.

Slogans like ‘We do not want MP who makes flying visit to Udupi-Chikkamagaluru when election nearing,’ ‘Shobha Beda Innomme,’ ‘Shobhakka Hatao Udupi Bachao’ are being shared in social media.

In the meantime, a campaign in favour of senior leader Jayaprakash Hegde too has been initiated. The campaign #JPH4Udupi-Chikkamagaluru’ is popular among Twitterati.

District BJP President Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde said, “#GobackShobha campaign has come to our notice. The party High Command will decide on ticket.”
