Hindus distribute sweets to Muslims on Eid Milad

Eid Milad, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed, was a witness to communal harmony as members of Hindu organisations distributing sweets and cold drinks to the members of Muslim community at Kandak, Kannur and Montepadavu in Dakshina Kannada.

Members of Shiva Shakthi Friends, at Kandak in Mangaluru, distributed sweets and cold drinks to the children and senior citizens of Muslim community.

A-1 Cab, an organisation based in Kannur, celebrated the festival by upholding the principles of brotherhood and harmony. On its fifth anniversary, the members invited Hindu friends, handed them roses and wished them on the occasion. They also exchanged sweets and greetings.

Sri Sharadamba Bhajana Mandira members at Montepadavu too distributed sweets and cold drinks to the members of Muslim community. The Muslim community members had been distributing cold drinks during Mosaru Kudike celebrations.
