Phew! That was some hitting from England, as they blasted Afghanistan all over the park. Jonny Bairstow gave them a perfect start and along with Joe Root, accumulated runs steadily. Bairstow's fall paved the way for Morgan to join Root in the middle, and boy oh boy!
He smacked, smoked everything out of the park to bring the fourth fastest century in the World Cup history. Dropped on 28, he went on to hammer 148 off 71 balls. Moeen Ali provided the finishing touch with 31 off just 9 balls.
Morgan's 17 sixes is now the highest in a single ODI match.
