11 children killed in Rajasthan accident

At least 11 students were killed and over two dozen were injured when a school bus collided with a  truck-trolley in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district on Tuesday morning. Five students are reportedly in serious condition.

The incident occurred near Amarsingh Wala village when the bus was on its way to Saraswati Model School in Goluwala from Surawali with about 40 children, the police said.
The accident occurred around 7.15 am was so severe that the trolley halted only after a 60-foot drag.

 The injured were admitted to various hospitals in Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts.

While the bus driver fled from the scene, some villagers extricated the children from the mangled bus and rushed them to hospital. Seven children were killed instantly.
Four died in hospital. The dead were aged between 9 and 16 years, the police said.
The district administration have sealed the school after the incident. The area observed a complete bandh on Tuesday. 

Dead lizard

Schoolchildren in a government school in Bhilwara district fell after being served their midday meal with a dead lizard.

The incident took place at a government school in Baneda village.

Three children who are said to be in a serious condition were referred to District Hospital in Bhilwara. Police said a dead lizard was found in the ‘dal’ served with the meal in the school on Tuesday.

The children were rushed to hospital after they complained of uneasiness and omitting.
