Assam: 21-year-old artist makes portraits using e-waste

In a bid to create awareness among people to protect the environment, a Guwahati-based artist makes portraits by using electronic waste material.

The 21-year-old artist had an interest in fine arts since childhood. He has made a portraits of the Assam CM and of cricketer Virat Kohli by using waste materials.

Rahul had made it to Asia Book of Records and won many more awards for his innovative artworks.

The young artist is planning to create portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “I want to create awareness on electronics waste. I make portraits of my role models who have inspired me. I'm also planning to make a portrait of PM Modi,” he told ANI on March 19.
